Role Overview

As a Senior Programming Engineer, you will be a key contributor to delivering advanced automation solutions using our established company blocks and standards. In addition to your core programming responsibilities, you will mentor mid-level and junior engineers as they join the team, helping them evolve and develop. You will work closely with Lead Engineer Europe, gaining insight into the specific requirements and standards of the market. This collaboration will be instrumental in helping you succeed, but we also expect you to take ownership of your work and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Senior-Level PLC Programming: Program building automation systems using company blocks and standards. Experience with at least one vendor standard such as Beckhoff, Honeywell brands (Trend, SAIA, Phoenix, Centraline, Honeywell), Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi or Siemens is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive Understanding of HVAC Systems: Apply your knowledge of HVAC systems to effectively program and integrate building automation solutions.
  • Leadership Development and Team Growth: Provide guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior programmers, supporting their professional growth and helping them understand company standards and expectations.
  • Collaboration with Lead Engineer: Work closely with the Lead Engineer Europe to align with the requirements of the market, receiving guidance to support your understanding while maintaining ownership of your deliverables.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Take personal ownership of your tasks, ensuring high-quality, reliable results that align with Cubus Verde’s core values of excellence, innovation, and partnership.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement: Engage in internal and external training programs to stay updated on industry best practices and contribute new ideas for process improvements.
  • Coding Test: Participate in a coding test as part of the selection process to assess practical programming skills relevant to daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of programming experience in building automation projects, with a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with programming systems such as Beckhoff, Honeywell brands, Schneider Electric or Siemens is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English is required to effectively collaborate with global teams and clients.
  • Leadership Development: Proven ability to guide and mentor mid-level and junior engineers, fostering their growth and aligning them with company standards.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with global teams, especially in understanding European market requirements.
